罐体两侧中部设有走台,平时用于搁置吸粪胶管。罐体内部装有防荡板,用以减少车辆行驶所引起的液体的剧烈晃荡冲击对罐体及其车架连接部位损坏。前封头设有视粪管,便于监视装载量,防止超载。后封头底部设有自流阀,平时密封着,清洗罐体时,可打开球阀让污水自流排出。
罐体以刚性连接方式,安装在车架上,两者中间设有缓冲垫,可减轻车辆的振动对罐体的损害。2、真空泵
吸粪车真空泵是吸粪车上的关键元件,主要和取力器,三通四位阀等配合作业实现抽真空和向罐体内加压作业。
目前吸粪车上常用的都是单级旋转油封真空泵,具有安装方便,抽真空度高,效率高等特点。
真空泵主要由泵体,转子及其组建,泵壳,旋片,滑环,轴承盖及密封装置组成,转子为易损件,为了方便拆卸修理,转子回旋中心偏离于泵体中心。
其工作原理是偏心转子在取力器带动下工作,把罐体吸入压缩室,当压力超过排气口规定值后,压缩室自动开启,把压缩空气排出,这样罐体内部空气就被抽出,反复循环,罐体内部就形成真空。
为了保证真空泵正常工作和避免污染,在生产吸粪车的时候还安装了油气分离器和水气分离器来过滤压缩气体中的水汽和油气。3、取力器
吸粪车取力器的运转,是靠发动机动力通过取力器,传动轴来转动,取力器安装于变速器左或右侧部,操作柄上部位于驾驶室中间板。
这种取力器由输入齿轮、输入轴、中间齿轮、中间轴、输出轴、输出齿轮、拔叉轴、拔叉等及操作柄构成。

4、四通阀
真空泵只能逆时针旋转(面对车头),要从容罐内吸入空气,或者向罐内排出空气,就需要利用四通阀。
四通阀分别与罐体、真空泵、回油箱大气相通。四通阀内设有隔板。改变真空泵的吸气方向,当四通阀将罐体与真空泵相连时,粪车即进行排卸作业。
5、水气分离器
水气分离器位于容罐前顶部,后通容罐。它的内部设有输气管其管两侧开矩形孔,供空气出入容罐。在抽吸作业时,容罐内空气从矩形孔出来,体积突然扩大,流速降低,使水分子和空气分离,可减少其对润滑油和机件的危害。
